to kit: okay, i'll attempt to blog a little more regularly..
somehow the sem became alot more laden than i expected it to be.. the initial plan was to simply heck care about all other stuff and simply conc on studies, just to pull my cap up tt tiny bit so i can safely to fyp.. seems like everything did not work well again.. i realised how much i love wasting time.. when i have extra time, i kept "ston-ning" it off and that's totally not helpful.. and so i went back to the hectic routine of working once again.. actually i tink i wont be doing this if not for all the new opportunities opened up to me.. no more simply staying at the door and waiting for the show to end.. now i have a say in how to run the event and i must say it feels good.. and i'm glad i have my own personal coach to guide me as i try, error and learn..
spent more than half my mid sem break working.. okay.. if mid-sem break is composed of 9 days (sun- sun), then i spent a grand total of 5 days working, 2 days on driving and 1 day sleeping, that kinda left 1 day for school work.. somehow i just cant feel the pressing need to mug and this is horrid..
but the intern opportunity really taught me quite some stuff.. now i can truly appreciate all the hard work tt's behind the scene.. it's alot more taxing and complicated that anyone would have imagined it to be.. although these re not must-know knowledge, it's still nice to know.. just like y i'm always watching animal planet or discovery channels..
caught Dim Sum Dollies: In the History of Spore the other day.. i tot i wont like it since i always find comedian musicals rubbish, but i was really wrong.. i actually really enjoyed it.. and i must say the atmosphere in the auditorium was fantastic.. it felt so like well, national day (even if it's no where near national day).. but it's good to see the crowd the spore dollies re drawing.. seems like the arts scene in spore has quite a good outlook.. next up-- Giselle in the Park on 30th march..
from animal planet: 40% of the world's coral would dead by 2010.. i rmb how i studied bout the great barrier reef in my pri sch days.. one of the world wonders.. feeling a bit disturbed by the fact tt one day, another world wonder will disappear from our world just like how most of the ancient world wonders had.. perhaps i'll make the great barrier reef the next travelling destination.. to see it before it disappears.
and i had a most wonderful 22nd bday back in jan..
celebrating bday with my pharmily gals.. all 7 of us in the lt.. how they managed to lit candles and stuff in the middle of lecture and w/o my knowledge at all??
with manda and my bday flowers from you-know-who.. the florist called in the middle of lecture to get me to collect the flowers.. big surprise.. was kinda suspicious though and tot it was a prank call or smth..
my specially ordered mango premium cake from emicakes frm the special someone.. okay.. the special order part is my fav cherries on the mango cake.. haha.. who else will think of adding cherries on mango cake???received the best bday gift i ever had.. it's a tiny muscial castle.. with a ballerina dancing in the middle of the castle as the "Dance of the Sugar Plum fairies" plays.. really love it..

gal power prevails.. it always still feels like i'm in a gals school.. but i love the girly closeness anyway.. thanks gals..jan-feb feels a little too exciting since my bday day was 1 week frm cny and cny 1 week frm vday.. which means tt i litterally had celebrations every week for 3 consecutive weeks.. kinda distracting to studies but well, there re many things tt re worth more than a uni grad cert..

we bought the famous peng2 chai4..a hongkong tradition, the prawns, abalone, sea cucumber, roast meat. beg; layers of dishes piled in a huge claypot, many diff layers of complimentary flavours and texture..yummyz..

no expensive fancy gifts or big big bouquets of flowers can compare to my vday gift..
an awfully chocolate cheesecake.. nope.. i dont mean the famous "awfully chocolate" shop.. but a homemade cheesecake tt had quite a bit too much butter and worn the wrong shirt colour (it was supposed to be white and not brown)..
a picture of how it was supposed to look like.. note: white choc button is supposed to be used, but norm choc button was used instead..didn't ate much of it but it was really surprising and touching to have a guy to be willing to bake for you.. i havent even really made a cake from scratch myself.. ... thank you so much my dear bbm..
a little secret of myself: i'm horribly scared of the sea cos the mystery waters below always feels like it's filled with sharks waiting to eat me (this is not a joke.. i really think so despite the fact tt animal planet reminds me so often tt sharks do not see human as prey)
it's cos of this fear tt i never went for OBS or attempted any water sports activity.. everyone thinks it's cos of the sun or smth but i'm never a gal who thinks i'll melt in the sun..
really very very touched for volunteering to help me to overcome my phobia..
