ok..i'm finally updating my blog jon.. anyway, i'm really happy today, just got shortlisted as a NUS front-of-the-house student helper (tt's the nice way of putting it..in other words, it's just student usherer)... this is actually a sorta like official part time job that u can work as in NUS.. heard frm some frens the pay is quite gd.. 7 bucks an hr if i nv rmb wrongly... extra flexible hrs since u can choose the projects u wish to participate in.. in short, it is just an ideal job for a uni student who needs a bit of income after spending lotsa pocket money on Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology by FH Martini and Physical Pharmacy and a whole big stack of photocopied organic chem notes from seniors.. tt's not all.. i spent 55 bucks on the pharmacy matric pack, 10 bucks on NUS matric pack, another 11 bucks trying to get a tertiary student ez link.. all the above mentioned does not even include going out, eating and the upsetting 100 bucks transport fees every month.. being a university student is really expensive..i guess tt explains y i actually purposely went to sch last sat and put myself thru a cruel and tedious interview trying to have a bit of income... anyway, now i've gotta attend quite a number of talks and a 2 month probation before i can b officially employed.. sigh..just read frm yahoo grps from eemin's and newman's HK and China lecturers and their interesting pronouciations...my fac seems to be facing to the problem too... well, i guess NUS is just really a global campus.. p.s. my first CA for physiochemical principles of drug action PR1101 is nxt month and i haven even started looking thru my notes. i'm DEAD...
