just read a really sad story today..the non-fictional story goes like this..a naive 16 year old middle east gal had a what-she-thought was a very good relationship with a man (whom she had never met) on the phone.. all they did was simply talk on the phone.. the relationship turned sour one day when the man threatened to expose their "phone" relationship to others if she did not mail him a photo of herself.. and so, she did..3 years later, the gal married her current husband and asked the man back for her photo.. the man refused to mail it back to her.. insisting tt she would have to meet him in order to get her photo back.. so they met at a neighbourhood mall and the man sent her home..just as they almost reached home, a car drove towards them and stopped them.. the pair was then driven to a far away secluded place.. the man was ordered to leave and the gal was left there to be gang-raped by 7 men in the next days.. after that, they sent her back home.. when she told her story to her family.. her bro tried to kill her for the shame she brought to the family..and she was sentenced to 90 lashes by law since she had a "retreat" with a man..as the girl brought the matter to court, the court ordered to increase her punishment to 200 lashes..furthermore, the lawyer who stood up for her case, was unregistered by the law board..what injustice exist in this world, even in today's world such a thing can still exist..well, just some really upsetting randomness in the midst of all the mugging..
