had dinner at JuJu Hokaido Hot Pot at Paradiz Centre to celebrate the end of my preceptorship.. the food was fabulous.. haven had such good steamboat for ages.. but perhaps the company made everything even sweeter..the meal includes the starter, a main dish, a staple food of your choice, a small glass of icy plum vinegar (to aid digestion), a dessert of your choice, a plate of assorted dumplings.. and a must mention soup base tt is boiled from special fresh seaweed tt is imported from hokaido..
the starter plates includes this soft-center egg.. i'm never a fan of egg yokes but this combination of flowy egg yoke with sweet soy sauce is really quite nice..
i ordered cha soba as my staple food of the meal.. the serving was not too big.. so as to not take too much space in my tummy..
our plates of assorted dumplings.. the middle is the white button mushroom capped with minced pork.. my fav among this plate..
his main course was the fish platter.. with 3 kinds of fish.. with assorted vege and mushrooms.. and the yellow fish paste was vv nice too.. i must say tt i nv had such fresh fish for steamboat b4..
mine was the ocean platter with a whole crab, prawn, mussels, cuttlefish, fish.. and the assorted vege and mushroom.. i think mine was nicer cos the crab and prawns were really good.. super fresh.. and prawn was crunchy.. unlike most other places..the crab and mussels were big ones too.. after cooking everything, my seaweed soup had the taste of crab.. and i was joking bout how nice my crabby soup tasted.. yum yum..
and the dessert was super worth mentioning.. mine was mango sago with fruits and his, green tea pudding.. even if u hate eating steamboat, you can head down just for the desserts..
p.s i'm super happy tt i've got a new dangling ring again.. it's generation 3 already.. although this time is a little more special cos it's a gift from someone.. and it's even more special cos the angel has a special meaning to us.. now i've got my own little angel to accompany me everywhere..
